broadviewguesthouse.co.uk

Broadview is a quality, friendly, no smoking Guest House offering award winning Bed and Breakfast accommodation in Ambleside in the heart of the English Lake District National Park. Alan & Sue are happily extending their hospitality to both regular & new visitors in this their 11th season. The first paying guests were taken at Broadview around 1956 and although Broadview has remained more or less unchanged, it offers the modern facilities and little extras you would expect to make your stay in the Lake District a special one. The house is fully centrally heated and although we do have the occassional log fire in winter, this is for effect rather than necessity.

Broadview has six good quality guest rooms set out on the first & second floors. Unlike most establishments, our rooms are individually named not numbered.

A warm and quiet bedroom at the back of the house containing a kingsize 4 poster bed. The room is en-suite with shower, toilet and basin. The room is ideal for that special romantic break or just a treat. It’s cool in summer and lovely and warm in the winter as it sits over our AGA, but the big sash windows allow plenty of ventilation on warmer days. The room also features a widescreen TV, video and DVD so don’t forget to pack your CDs etc.
